How are you involved in education?
- I am a certified Whole Brain Teaching instructor and the Core Knowledge Coordinator for the national organization, and I present workshops for schools interested in WBT. I’m also a National DonorsChoose Teacher Ambassador and give workshops to help teachers set up grants for their classrooms! But mainly, I love sharing books with some pretty great kids!
What does your ideal school or classroom look like?
- My ideal classroom is filled with children talking and sharing, and choosing what they read. The kids are engaged from the minute I greet them at the door, asking questions and teaching each other. And… the room is overflowing with books!
