- 5th Grade Science Teacher
How are you involved in education?
- I teach 6 sections of 5th grade science. In the summers I teach Great Expectations methodology as often as I can. Not for the extra income, but to pirate as many ideas and techniques as possible!
What does your ideal school or classroom look like?
- I’d love to see more student driven curriculum, with highly engaged children (and teachers for that matter!) who are eager to get to school in the morning and don’t want to leave at the end of the day.
If you were to lead a session at Edcamp, what would it be about?
- I’d love to connect with others who are flipping the classroom, using Project Based Learning, and incorporating independent study into their lessons.
