How are you involved in education?
- I oversee the English department at my school, and I get the opportunity to present PD’s focused on literacy in all subject areas. I love technology integration in the classroom. When I’m working with teachers, I do my best to support their instruction with technology any way I can.
What does your ideal school or classroom look like?
- My ideal classroom is one with continual collaboration, student driven inquiry into the subject area, technology tools to support learning, presentations from students to share their knowledge, and one where life-long learning is the goal for all.
If you were to lead a session at Edcamp, what would it be about?
- Ways to incorporate literacy standards into all subject areas.
