How are you involved in education?
- My passion for technology and teaching has led me into a career where I have the opportunity to support teachers and their instruction with awesome tech tools. I am a former middle and high school science teacher that values positive student-teacher relationships far more than test scores. My goal/wish is for all teachers to love teaching so all students love learning!
What does your ideal school or classroom look like?
- Flexible yet structured. I believe when we have the right tools and resources the space should fit each and every learners style. This school or classroom would allow teachers to facilitate and push students to delve deeper into topics or concepts and much less on the students’ ability to regurgitate facts.
If you were to lead a session at Edcamp, what would it be about?
- Formative Assessment -why I love data but only if it’s used..
