How are you involved in education?
- I teach Pre-AP English 2 and Creative Writing 1 and 2 at Deer Creek High School in Edmond. I’m a teacher consultant for the Oklahoma Writing Project, and serve on the board for the Oklahoma Council of Teachers of English.
What does your ideal school or classroom look like?
- My ideal classroom is filled with books students choose to read, notebooks students want to fill with writing, and a teacher who is given to support to push each student to the next level.
